Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is moving from France to England, as his deal with Arsenal FC has now reached the final advanced stages of completion. This development is certainly expected as Lacazette has been linked to the Gunners quite a bit this summer. We’ve been waiting a bit for this summer transfer window to really start taking off, but now we finally have another major deal to discuss.
It’s being widely reported that Lacazette is undergoing his Arsenal FC medical today, and that the final transfer fee could break the club record. Here’s a Tweet posted minutes ago from a BBC Sport journalist.

ESPN FC is talking about “a five-year deal after agreeing personal terms, with Arsenal set to pay Lyon a fee of about £45 million plus add-ons.” The official Alexandre Lacazette announcement and unveiling could come by tomorrow morning. The Telegraph reports the move to be worth £52 million.
Obviously, a big deal such as this, for a player at the same position at Alexis Sanchez, invites speculation that the Chilean could now be out the door. Sanchez said this past weekend that he himself knows his future, and where it lies, but he refused to share that during the media session.
