Last night’s big winner of the GOP Debate? Megyn Kelly formerly known as Megyn Kendall, a media personality on the Fox News Channel. The 45-year-old Megyn Kelly currently hosts The Kelly File on weekdays at 9–10 PM Eastern time from the network’s New York City headquarters. She previously hosted America Live.
Prior to that, Megyn Kelly co-hosted America’s Newsroom along with Bill Hemmer. Since 2007, the two have hosted Fox News Channel’s New Year’s Eve special every year.
Last night, Megyn Kelly stole the show while moderating the Republican Presidential primary debate on FNC. There was quite the collection of characters on stage, and pretty much all of them were unintentionally hilarious. Seeing and hearing these candidates present their political platforms was actually a lot funnier than Jon Stewart’s final episode of The Daily Show. On Stewart’s big night, it was actually Megyn Kelly who won the evening, as social media was talking more about her than anyone else on Thursday evening.
Credit FOX for doing a good job, asking more real questions than softball lobs, and credit Kelly for delivering those substantive queries.
You know she did a good job given the fact that Trump lost his mind over it. He was angry that she, you know, acted like a journalist, and that derailed his opportunities to further propagate his hateful crapola. Trump went on an epic late night Twitter rampage against Kelly, RTing people who called her a bimbo and a loser. It was epic even for Trump, who is known for spewing hateful venom the social media platform.
"@RubenMMoreno: @realDonaldTrump The biggest loser in the debate was @megynkelly. You can't out trump Donald Trump. You will lose!

"@timjcam: @megynkelly @FrankLuntz @realDonaldTrump Fox viewers give low marks to bimbo @MegynKelly will consider other programs!"

Yes, there were plenty of people who were ideologically pantsed by Megyn Kelly who were ripping her to pieces on social media last night. As were your usual Twitter trolls and cretins. But the people who actually watched the debate and who actually know what the hell they’re talking about made Tweets such as these:
Debate's over. Two words: Megyn Kelly. (Or one Twitter handle: @MegynKelly)
