With all the reported problems in Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z’s marriage, the pop diva may have a new knight in shining armor waiting for her in NBA superstar and USA basketball team member Anthony Davis.
During a public appearance in his hometown of Chicago, Davis referred to Beyonce as his “future wife.” The host of the event then brought up Hova’s prodigious financial prowess, and the New Orleans Pelicans Center brushed that off. Here’s the audio file, at the 5:39 mark to about 6:04 is when the pop diva love interest storyline starts.
Apparently, Anthony Davis would like to possibly put a ring on it.
So watch for Davis to drive “to the left, to the left” in the lane this Saturday night when Team USA takes on Brazil. He truly is “irreplaceable” for the Pelicans. Beyonce and Jay-Z are currently performing in their “On the Run” tour, having completed the U.S. schedule.
On this tour, Beyonce has changed the lyrics of her songs numerous times to reflect her dissatisfaction with Shawn Carter, are many outlets claims that lawyers are already involved.
Beyonce has also been looking for an apartment for herself and the couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy. It’s been rumored that Jay-Z has had an affair with Rihanna, and this affair is allegedly the cause of most of their marital strife. Several sources have reported that Jay-Z and Beyonce are currently still together for only one reason, in order to maximize profits from their tour.
It’s not a question of if, but when Beyonce becomes one of the single ladies again. And maybe the big man who run the world, at least from the NBA in New Orleans world, could give the pop star sweet dreams.
Earlier in the same speech, Davis made a basketball “who run this mutha?” kind of statement too. He boldly proclaimed that the Pelicans would make the NBA playoffs this season. Considering how far out of postseason contention the team was last year, you would have to be crazy in love with the changes New Orleans made this summer to believe that the Pelicans will get it done.
Davis is implying “I may be young but I’m ready” to Beyonce.
