QB Tyler Bray is leaving Tennessee to put his name into April’s NFL Draft, a source tells CBS. Bray has a reputation as a bit of head case. You might even classify him as (with apologies to “Bull Durham”) a million dollar arm, ten cent head. Or perhaps this draft’s version of Ryan Mallett, Ryan Leaf, Jimmy Claussen etc.
So now that Bray’s Vols career is over, where will he end up?
Anywhere from round 2 to round 5, depending how he tests/interviews at the combine. At that round 2 could even turn into round one given how EVERY YEAR quarterbacks go way overdrafted. Bray probably follows behind: Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson and Landry Jones. Possibly Ryan Nassib as well. And there’s a lot of desperate teams looking for signal callers.
