The Big Ten recently completed its primetime college football selection process that decides which of its teams will play on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 in an 8 p.m. slot. Ohio State got the nod to compete under the lights for three games in the upcoming season, according to a press release from the university.

The Buckeyes will square off in the second game of a home and home against The U. on Sept. 17 in Miami, followed by an Oct. 8 game against Big Ten newcomers, Nebraska, in Lincoln. The Bucks will then try to exact a little revenge against Wisconsin on Oct. 29 in Columbus.
The game against the Cornhuskers will be the first in which the “tat-five” will be able to participate, as well as the suspended Coach Tressel but the jury is still out on Coach Tressel who will have his fate decided by an NCAA hearing on Aug. 12.
The Wisconsin game takes place on Halloween weekend in what appears to be a cruel joke by the Big Ten. Having the eyes of the nation focused on Columbus during a heated revenge game on arguably the drunkest night of the year should make for an interesting evening in sports cinematography.
The conference has yet to announce which of its teams will play on the Big Ten Network in primetime.
The Buckeyes will begin their season Sept. 3 against the mighty Akron Zips in Columbus.
