Just this past week I had an extensive profile of star Michigan Wolverines defensive back Troy Woolfolk. It was an exclusive look at the mental/psychological battle that takes place between wide receiver and DB before every snap.
Today, Woolfolk suffered an unfortunate turn of events. Details are sketchy but here’s what was just released at 6:15 CT 8-17-10:
Statement from Michigan Head Coach Rich Rodriguez
Troy Woolfolk suffered a lower body injury during practice this afternoon and was transported to U-M Hospital with our team physician. We can’t comment further due to medical privacy rights.
