The upcoming round is bringing us some derby matches and we can wait for the weekend to see the best clubs in action. In the build-up for the Round 12, we have prepared some betting tips for you.
Liverpool v Manchester City
This is the clash of titans in their title battle. The hosts are six points ahead of their rivals and sitting on the top spot. The Reds missed the chance to win only once so far in the season when they split the points with Manchester United at Old Trafford. Mohamed Salah and the lads provided two straight comebacks in the last two rounds as they managed t turn around the result against Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa. The latest was an epic one as Liverpool managed to snatch all three points by scoring twice in the very finish of the match. Their attacking line is very productive, while the defence allowed a goal in the last four straight matches in the Premier League.
Manchester City managed to improve after their 2-0 defeat at home against Wolves and they are enjoying a streak of three straight wins. They spilled important points in that match and against Norwich City as well, which saw them six points behind the top spot. Pep Guardiola’s side is the most efficient team in the league with 34 goals scored, which is a bit more than three per match in average. This match might have a big impact on the title battle, and we are expecting an exciting clash.

Leicester City v Arsenal
After two average campaigns, the Foxes are putting excellent performances which launched them to the 3rd spot. Although it is hard to expect them to challenge for the title, as Leicester City are eight points behind Liverpool, they can be serious contenders for the place in the top four. Jamie Vardy and the lads have lost just twice so far and in the last five rounds, they have celebrated four victories. Leicester City allowed just a point to their visitors so far in the season, while their defence is the best in the league as they have conceded only eight times so far.
Arsenal are in slight results crisis as they failed to win in the last three rounds. They have booked just one win in the past five matches in the Premier League which saw them declining to the 5th place. The Gunners are six points behind their rivals and they need to improve urgently if they want to remain in the game for the top four. Although Unai Emery’s side is pretty efficient in the front, their poor defending costed them some points. When it comes to playing away from home, Arsenal have celebrated just once and in the last four outings they’ve snatched only two points. This is going to be another tough challenge for them, especially since the atmosphere around the club is impacted by Granit Xhaka’s outburst after being subbed against Crystal Palace.

Chelsea v Crystal Palace
After an inconsistent start of the campaign, the Blues managed to stabilize their form and they are enjoying a very good winning streak which lasts for five rounds. After their 2-1 defeat against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea booked five straight wins which saw them climbing to the 4th spot. Although their defending is not so tight, Chelsea’s attacking line is producing a lot of goals. However, they haven’t been so successful when playing in front of their fans and they’ve booked just two wins in five matches at Stamford Bridge.
Crystal Palace is sneaking around the middle of the table and they are also just two points behind Arsenal and the 5th spot. But, their form has declined lately as Luka Milivojevic and the lads managed to pick up just a point from the last three rounds. They are one of the most inefficient sides in the league, while their defending is pretty decent. Crystal Palace is putting fine away displays and this should be an interesting London derby.
