A Derrick Rose comeback? Two media sources in Chicago are speculating Rose will play for the first time this season on March 18th. NBA fans will likely have to wait just a couple more days for a Derrick Rose return. Chicago Bulls fans, it seems the 2011 league MVP, Derrick Rose, will be playing on Monday night versus the Denver Nuggets. You can see Derrick Rose on the court, not just on pizza boxes. The Bulls moved the telecast of their game with Denver from Comcast SportsNet+ Chicago to Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
The Bulls are switching places with the Blackhawks, and when you consider that the Blackhawks have been breaking television ratings records left and right, you know something big has to be happening to bump them down. The broadcast news began with Daily Herald Bulls beat reporter Mike McGraw, who tweeted:
Bulls announced today that Mon’s game vs. DEN is moving from CSN-plus to the main station. I’m sure fans can imagine a possible reason why.

Now I know what you’re thinking, if this is really happening, why isn’t WGN the Superstation picking up the game instead? Well, as Wayne Randazzo of WSCR (670 AM, a CBS owned station) pointed out, WGN doesn’t have the rights to pick up the game, Comcast does.
This time seems real because you know what a fierce competitor Derrick Rose is; he’s not going to return unless he’s 110%. A Derrick Rose comeback would be big for the team and fanbase, as it would bring the slightly above mediocre Bulls a NBA playoff series win or two. However, it still won’t get them past the Miami Heat this year.
