Liverpool earned a hard-earned point today, at home against league leading Arsenal, but it came a tremendous cost. Defender Kostas Tsimikas suffered a very serious injury, a situation that is widely reported to be a broken collarbone. It’s a tremendous set back for Tsimikas and the back line, and to means that Tsimikas could be out for up to three or four months.
“A massive shadow, Kostas Tsimikas, his collarbone is definitely broken,” Jurgen Klopp said after the match.

“All the rest [with his injury], we have to see. Out for a long time, which is hard to swallow for us with the Robbo situation.”
Exactly that- this is an even more massive blow when you consider that Andy Robertson (recovering from shoulder surgery) is already out for the long term. One has to wonder what the left back situation is going to look like now when the Reds travel to Burnley for the Boxing Day fixture.
Also continuing on the injury list for this one are the following players: Diogo Jota (nagging hamstring injury), Joel Matip (out for the year with a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament), Stefan Bajcetic (calf), Thiago Alcantara (groin) and Alexis Mac Allister (knee).
